Bokunen Naka Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

Bokunen usually depicts scenes from his Okinawan home in his art. To date, he has made more than thirty woodblock prints with flowers and (or) birds in the foreground. They are drawn and colored creatively and often fill a large portion of the picture. Thirty-two examples of Bokunen’s art are included in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
